Terms and Conditions – Summer School

1.
There is a non-returnable registration fee of £100, payable on application.
2. The balance invoice must be paid at least six weeks before the start of the Summer School. For students who register less than six weeks before the start of the Summer School, the balance invoice must be paid when it is received.
3. Celc must receive the full payment. Any bank charges must be paid by the student.
4. The fee is only refundable under the following circumstances:
  • you change your mind within seven days of paying.
  • Celc is unable to offer you a place.
  • your visa application is refused. In the event of visa refusal, we will refund your fee, less the registration fee and prevailing bank charges. In such a case, you must inform the school at least two weeks before the start of the Summer School, providing a full explanation as to why your visa application was refused.
  • you cancel two weeks or more before Summer School begins – in this case, we will return the fee, less the registration fee and any prevailing bank charges.

If you cancel less than two weeks before the Summer School begins we will return 50% of the fee. We do not return any money if you cancel after the start of Summer School.

5. Celc reserves the right to refuse a registration.
6. A student must pay for any damage caused accidentally or intentionally.
7. Celc cannot be held liable for damage or accident to student’s person or property. Students must take out travel and medical insurance*.
8. Celc reserves the right to cancel the Summer School, and under those circumstances the full fee, including the registration fee, would be returned.
9. Celc reserves the right to change the time or content of any published class, activity or excursion.
10. The parent/s must complete all relevant documentation, including flight/travel arrival and departure details, Medical Form and Parental Consent Form and agree to the Behaviour Policy and Phone Policy.
11. If you have a complaint, please talk to the Summer School Director, who will listen and take any necessary action. You are protected by the school’s obligations as a British Council accredited member of English UK.

We collect your personal information in order to fulfil our contract with you. We do not disclose your information to third parties, except where necessary to comply with English law. We may use the details you provide in the future to contact you in order to keep you informed about school news and services. Please write to us if you do not wish to receive this information.
