Accommodation

While you are studying at the Christian English Language Centre, it is important to us that you feel welcome, not just in the school but also in your homestay accommodation. We select our hosts carefully to ensure your stay is both comfortable and happy. All our hosts are Christians.

Being in a homestay provides a good support environment, offers you the opportunity to really experience British life and culture, and gives you with lots of extra opportunities to practise your English!

In our homestays, you can choose a single room or a shared room with another student, and there is a maximum of 4 students per family. We do not put students with the same first language together in the same homestay unless the students request it.

Our hosts provide breakfast and an evening meal on weekdays and 3 meals a day at weekends. Please tell us if you have any special dietary needs.

Some hosts are within walking distance of the school, whilst others are a short bus ride away.

You should plan to arrive on a Saturday [afternoon/evening] and depart on a Saturday [morning]. If it is not possible for you to arrive on a Saturday, please contact the Centre.
