What a great excursion - fossils, sunshine and fighter jets!
With the sun making a very welcome appearance, 35 students explored to the West and along the coast. The wonderful avenue of trees that pass Badbury Rings near Wimborne, Dorchester - both historic and the new township of Poundbury, inspired by HRH Prince Charles, Lyme Regis and then on to the delightful fishing village of Beer.
The Royal Air Force's team of display fighter jets performed amazingly in the skies above Lyme, students were gobbling up the fish 'n' chips and Cornish pasties and discovering more about fossils, 20 fish were caught from a trawler and ten students enjoyed a beautiful walk over Beer Head. A great trip!
